VAPE Ignition Maico 250 - 490 3-Shaft

electronic ignition system for Maico 250/400/440/490/MC490/T - 3-Shaft, heavy rotor

Magnet based generator with integrated solid state ignition. Light output 12V/70W AC. Replaces complete original magneto in Maico 250 - 490 built between 1978 and 1982.

Notes:
- Rotor weight is 1000 grams, for engines with 250cc we recommend 700 grams rotor weight, system 71 36 799 AC
- All AC systems do neither support battery charging nor side indicators. You may therefore not normaly use it on public roads (unless your local regulations permit this). Consult your local road traffic regulations for use in normal traffic. Should you need side indicators and/or battery, ask for our DC version of the system.
