VAPE Electronic Ignition Yamaha DT125 E

electronic ignition system for Yamaha AT1, AT2, AT3, DT125 E and 125AT2,  1969-79

For engines with 130mm stator, clutch mechanism is placed in side cover, bike has two suspension springs. The generator is attached with a screw, not nut, to the crankshaft. Replaces the original 12 Volt generator and ignition, or the original Dynastarter, (130 mm diameter, 2 screws).

Magnet based generator with integrated solid state ignition. Replaces all original generator and ignition parts. Updates your system to 12V/180W DC.
No changes on engine housing necessary. The system is technically capable of running without battery.

Note:
- does not replace dynastart in AT2, engine has to be kick-started
- Rotor weight 1.9 kg
