electronic ignition for Simson DUO 4/1 with KR51/1S engine

Replacement system for ignitions where base plate is fixed by screws (not clamped), years 1973 - 1989.
Magnet based generator with integrated fully electronic ignition. Output at 12V/100W DC. Replaces original 6 Volt Dynamo.
Installs into original recess of engine without need for change there. Solid state ignition with own power supply from within the system.
Your bike drives then only with DC, the complicated AC/DC-mixture will be omitted.
No need for changes on engine housing. The system may be run without battery.

Notes:

The vehicle system then only has direct current and no longer the complicated direct and alternating current mix. The stop light and tail light no longer switch.
The fan wheel is not included in our set. The original fan or a corresponding replica is screwed onto the rotor.
Early KR51 and SR4-2 had a different ignition system (rotor with a different cone). The replacement system 76 76 799 for this is no longer available.
